Vacation to Spain - Part 1 - Travelling and Stuff

Since I wrote such an immensely successful travelling epilogue last year, a repeat is necessary this year. If you did not read last year’s travel, you can find it here, here, here and here

This year’s special vacation goes to Alicante in Spain, more specifically Torrevieja. The trip started at Gardermoen, where we also met Thomas, Olga, Olivia and Alise. Thank goodness for the huge toy airplane at the airport.

This is the first time we flew with all the crazy kids. This was of course the day when Timmy decided not to sleep at all during the day.

He usually has a total naptime of about three hours during the day. This day he slept about half an hour… Perfect conditions for a late evening flight. Timmy ended up staying awake until over midnight. It think it was the longest day in his tiny little life.

We decided to rent a car on this trip, and I was expecting a super duper crappy car. We ended up getting a brand spanking new Seat Leon. Good times!

We forgot Timmy’s bathing suit at home. We therefore had to improvise a bit, and it was really funny. He ended up borrowing Alise’s swim trunks.

Dinner was eaten at the local Chinese restaurant. I have to admit that I didn’t expect much, but it was really good. I ordered a mixed plate with duck, chicken and pork. Sweetness!

And what did we end up doing until super late in the evening....? Trying to get the kids to sleep. Did we do it? Barely...
And what are we doing now late in the evening? We’re trying to get the kids to sleep. Can we do it? I cannot promise anything.

No more excuses! Push push push!
